What is the Dakota Association Of Mobile Entertainers?

D.A.M.E. is an association of professional mobile entertainers. The mission of the Dakota Association Of Mobile Entertainers is to encourage success for its members through continuous education, camaraderie, and networking. We believe that through involvement in this organization, DJ's achieve more as a group than they can individually. D.A.M.E. currently consists of professional Mobile Entertainers from a wide area including Bismarck, Mandan, Lincoln, Wing, Dickinson, and Minot.

Goals of D.A.M.E.

The goal of The Dakota Association Of Mobile Entertainers is to raise the quality of all mobile entertainment and educate entertainers so that each member acts ethically, responsibly, and professionally. We would also like to educate consumers on how to go about choosing a true professional entertainer.

How often do the members of D.A.M.E. meet?

Currently we are meeting on the second Tuesday of every month.  Meetings generally last about an hour.  The forum of the meetings is open so everyone has an opportunity to express their opinions.  We believe that everyone can benefit from fresh ideas and the wisdom of experience. 

Does it cost anything to be a member of D.A.M.E.?

Currently there are no dues for D.A.M.E.  All mobile entertainers are welcome to come to the meetings.  In the future, we hope to host a website, bring in guest speakers, and possibly become a chapter of the American Disc Jockey Association.  As these things come into being, it will be necessary to collect dues to pay for these things.
